English: The launch of the last expansion of EverQuest 2 – Sentinal’s fate is in my opinion a total disaster. Months ago they promised us shader models 3.0 and said that it would come in a Live Update which never came. Later on they said it will be ready for the launch of Sentinal’s Fate. Many players choose this game for of the beauty of it’s engine, not because of how well it runs because we all know it dosen’t. Guess what? STILL NO SM 3.0!!! 

When launching an expansion you can always expect more players then usual and you really need to act with that knowledge. The server Nagafen crashed around 7h00PM on that day… It was laggy before and after, pretty much unplayable. This was just about the network and engine part of the game but feel free to leave a comment.
